What does it mean to be a part of the Sanitation team?
The Warehouse Sanitation team is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the warehouse environment. This role involves routine cleaning of warehouse floors, shelves, restrooms, equipment, and other designated areas to ensure a safe, organized, and sanitary workspace. Workers in this team must follow health and safety protocols, manage cleaning supplies, and use equipment such as floor scrubbers, vacuums, and pressure washers. Attention to detail, the ability to follow cleaning schedules, and adherence to safety regulations are critical in this role to prevent accidents, contamination, and promote overall operational efficiency. Overview
- $17.89/hour starting pay
- Set schedule for increases - $18.95/hour at 1 year, $20.00/hour at 2 years, $21.05/hour at 3 years
- Weekly pay
- Schedule - Sunday 10:00AM-6:30PM, Monday-Thursday 7:00AM-4:30PM
Job Responsibilities
- Cleans, sweeps and removes dust and dirt from warehouse area including cooler and freezer
- Empties trash containers within building
- Collects and compacts cardboard
- Operates power scrubber to clean floor
- Cleans damaged product
- Maintains grounds and other areas as needed
- Other duties as assigned
- General warehouse duties
- Pick slot cleaning dry, cooler and freezer
Job Requirements
- Previous warehouse and janitorial experience preferred
- Forklift experience helpful
- Applicants must be able to lift 50 pounds (30 pounds on a regular basis)
- Post offer background check and drug screen required
