Marketing Coordinator (Marketing)



Location: Cary, NC. This role will follow a hybrid work schedule. Onsite presence required

Job Accountability/Responsibilities: 

  • Curate engaging content for marketing channels including social media, web site, and email by interviewing internal SMEs and translating industry jargon into easy-to-understand materials
  • Develop marketing materials such as brochures, presentations, and videos within brand guidelines and product/brand messaging
  • Work closely with marcomm team members to ensure consistent brand voice and messaging
  • Collaborate with marketing manager, product management, and leadership to ensure alignment with product and brand initiatives
  • Assist with content for launch campaigns and tracking campaign timelines
  • Shoot B-roll and execute minor edits; oversee video projects with external vendors
  • Provide support for external-facing presentations and materials such as monthly webinar series
  • Conduct research and analyze data to identify opportunities for growth and optimization

 

 Knowledge, Skills, Education:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Readiness to learn about new industries and ability to translate technical topics into clear, concise messages
  • 2-5 years of experience in marketing communications (+ if you have SaaS experience)
  • Demonstrated proficiency with AP Style, CMS tools, and social media platforms
  • Attention to detail and keen understanding of design principles
  • Familiarity with graphic design, marketing automation software, and CRM systems a plus (Adobe InDesign, HubSpot, Marketo, Adobe Illustrator, Canva, etc.)

Physical Requirements:

  • Sedentary work: Assignment involves sitting at workstation (desk) most of the time (up to 8 hours) with only occasional walking and/or standing.
  • Keyboarding: Primarily using fingers for typing.
  • Talking: Expressing or communicating verbally through use of spoken words (accurately conveying detailed or important spoken instructions to others).
  • Hearing: Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication and to make discriminations in sound.
  • Visual: Through close visual acuity, required to perform activities such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing computer terminal; extensive reading (with or without correction).
  • Environment: Work is performed within an office setting and therefore there is no substantial exposure to adverse environmental conditions (i.e., extreme heat, cold, noise, etc.).
