Project Management Analyst (Finance)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Project Management Analyst to support the planning, execution, and delivery of projects across the organization. This role involves tracking progress, identifying risks, generating reports, and ensuring that project teams follow established standards and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist project managers in developing project plans, timelines, and resource allocations.
• Monitor project progress, identify variances, and suggest corrective actions.
• Create and maintain dashboards, status reports, and KPIs for project performance.
• Support budget tracking and financial reporting for ongoing projects.
• Facilitate stakeholder communications, meetings, and documentation.
• Analyze project data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure adherence to project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
• Maintain project documentation, including risk logs, change requests, and lessons learned.
• Assist with onboarding and training new team members on PMO tools and processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in a project coordination or project analyst role.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Smartsheet, Asana).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Knowledge of project management frameworks (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum) is a plus.
• PMP, CAPM, or similar certification is preferred but not required.

Preferred Skills:

• Advanced Excel skills and experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
• Familiarity with budgeting and financial tracking tools.
• Experience in cross-functional team environments.
