Temporary Bid Proposals Specialist, KMGH - Hybrid (Engineering)



Are you a strategic thinker with a talent for crafting winning proposals? KMGH in Denver is seeking a Temporary Bid Proposal Specialist to lead our new business proposal process. In this role, you'll identify new business opportunities and develop compelling proposals that showcase our solutions and capabilities. Your expertise will directly impact our organization's growth and success in securing valuable new business contracts.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Serve as project lead and main point of contact for RFP submissions, managing the overall process
  • Stay current on client needs and business evolution to maximize client satisfaction
  • Understand and adopt the Scripps Sales Process to develop solutions meeting bid requirements
  • Ensure proposal responses address all business requirements, challenges, and requested formatting
  • Establish efficient cross-functional processes for proposal responses, including routing approvals across teams
  • Identify and develop relationships with clients to build rapport before and after awarded business
  • Assist in evolving our tech stack to drive scalability and capability to respond to more business
  • Maintain current knowledge of products and services across all platforms
  • Proactively engage Sales Managers in proposal submissions to maximize opportunities and strategic partnerships
  • Track and measure progress on all submissions and addendums, keeping sales staff informed
  • Collaborate with Sales staff and management to determine optimal product mix meeting client KPIs and goals

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Generally, 3+ years of experience in related field preferred
  • Proven history of successfully securing new advertising/marketing business preferred
  • Experience in RFP procurement software preferred

COMPENSATION RANGE:

Annual Salary: $72,000.00 - $78,000.00


 

Pursuant to state and local salary transparency laws, the salary range posted is specific to candidates who will perform this work in Colorado.
