Materials Engineer I (Finance)



As a Materials Engineer I in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, you will be part of a team that ensures materials and processes meet customers' needs. Be part of a team that applies its expertise and knowledge to established sets of tools aimed at evaluating materials to identify the presence and extent of prohibited or hazardous substances used in hardware manufactured by Honeywell.

You will work directly for the Sr Engineering Manager, in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico beginning onsite and transitioning to a hybrid position.

You will review new designs to ensure material and processes meet customers' needs. You will perform standard work to support new products such as (but not limited to) Hazardous Material Analysis, and Fungus Analysis.

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
  • Chemical, material, mechanical engineering or chemistry experience during college
  • Experience in drawing review and materials selection/analysis during college
  • Ability to read, write and speak English

  • Experience using Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
