Sr IT Project Management Specialist (Finance)



In this role, you will lead a team, shaping the strategic direction and ensuring the successful execution of our technology initiatives. By overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of technology projects, you will be instrumental in helping us achieve our long-term goals.

You will report directly to our Director of IT, and you'll work out of our Atlanta, GA location on a Hybrid work schedule.

Hybrid Work Schedule Note: For the first 90 days, New Hires must be prepared to work 100% onsite M-F.

We are looking for a Sr. IT Project Management Specialist who will be responsible to oversee large and significant Honeywell Building Solutions (HBS) programs. The incumbent will need to manage cross - Business stakeholders and work very closely with the Enterprise IT teams, business partners, and vendors to deliver strategic programs to planned scope and schedule. The Sr. IT Project Management Specialist will play key role in ensuring program deliverables are met and corporate quality requirements are produced on time and within budget.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with the businesses to translate business requirements into solutions
  • Partner with business and stakeholders to gather project requirements
  • Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions
  • Defines the initiative per the business need and creates momentum and support to drive forward, while managing the competing needs of multiple stakeholders.
  • Focus on both Honeywell business stakeholders and internal IT project needs to create an environment and process that ensures the successful delivery of the program objectives.
  • Initiates and facilitates team meetings and issue resolution involving the right parties to resolve problems and Support Users during critical activities such as UAT, month end closure, etc.
  • Participate and lead solution design solutions as appropriate
  • Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and finding
  • Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
  • Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports
  • Support the implementation of key deliverables as assigned such as functional discovery and scoping documentation, business test scenarios, and others
  • Create status reports and prepare leadership summary presentations

  • Experience and strong process knowledge in at least one of the following business/ functional areas: Service, Field Service, Quote to Cash
  • Technology Experience with at least one of the related System: Salesforce Field Service/CRM, SAP CPQ (Callidus), Cora PPM
  • Execution of Projects in a SAFe Agile Framework
