Sr Quality Engineering Manager (Finance)



You will report directly to our Director of Quality and you'll work out of our Northford, CT location on an Onsite work schedule.

In this role, you will impact our organization's success by empowering the quality engineering team, resulting in the consistent delivery of impeccable products and services. By developing and implementing advanced quality control processes, you will elevate our quality standards to new heights, setting industry benchmarks.

  • 6+ years of experience in the manufacturing industry, demonstrating your understanding of the unique quality challenges in this sector.
  • Advanced knowledge of quality control methodologies, tools, and industry best practices.
  • Proven expertise in statistical analysis tools and techniques to strengthen our data-driven quality initiatives.
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor quality engineering teams to achieve organizational goals.
  • Proficiency in advanced quality tools and methodologies, such as Design of Experiments (DOE), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and Statistical Process Control (SPC).

  • Advanced Engineering degrees like EE (Electrical Engineering), ME (Mechanical Engineering), etc.
  • Fire and Life Safety Standards (NFPA, UL / FM Approvals).
  • Product Safety Compliance (CE Marking, UKCA Marking, RoHS / REACH).
  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies, facilitating continuous improvement and process optimization.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.

  • Lead and manage the quality engineering team, cultivating a culture of technical excellence and seamless collaboration among members.
  • Develop and implement robust quality control processes and procedures, ensuring comprehensive quality control throughout the organization.
  • Continuously monitor and analyze intricate quality performance metrics, using advanced data analytics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensuring that products meet specified standards and regulations throughout the production process.
  • Process Improvement: Analyze and enhance existing processes to increase efficiency and quality.
  • Quality Management: Implementing quality management systems and practices to ensure product excellence.
  • Root Cause Analysis
  • Regulatory Compliance
  • Lead projects related to quality initiatives and improvements.
  • Developing training programs to enhance team capabilities in quality practices.
  • Conducting internal and external audits to assess compliance with quality standards.
  • Understand customer requirements and ensure quality aligns with customer expectations.
