Senior Traffic & Distribution Administrator (Finance)



As a Senior Traffic & Distribution Administrator here at Honeywell, you will oversee and optimize the efficient flow of goods, products, or services within our organization's supply chain and distribution network. Your advanced expertise will manage complex logistics operations, coordinate transportation strategies, negotiate significant carrier contracts, and implement advanced shipping processes to ensure cost-effective and timely deliveries.

You will report directly to our Logistics Director and you'll work out of our El Paso, TX location on an On-site work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the company by maintaining efficient supply chain operations, reducing costs, and optimizing logistics processes. Your ability to negotiate significant carrier contracts directly affects profit margins and the company's financial health, enhancing customer satisfaction and strengthening the company's reputation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee and optimize all aspects of logistics and distribution operations.
  • Coordinate transportation methods and select cost-effective and efficient options.
  • Negotiate significant contracts with carriers and logistics service providers to secure favorable terms and conditions.

  • 6+ years of proven experience in traffic and distribution management or related roles.
  • Exceptional negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Proficiency in using advanced supply chain management software and tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of industry regulations and best practices.
