Business Project Senior Analyst, Contract and Legislation - Evernorth - Remote (Finance)



The Contracts and Legislation team is hiring a Business Project Senior Analyst. This is a Leadership role focused on ensuring process and workflow consistency, maintaining standard policies, and driving operational performance improvements. You'll act as a subject matter expert and strategic liaison for Baseline Project teams, Client Onboarding & Service, PBAB, Compliance, and Systems to strengthen partnerships, streamline operations, and support automation that meets client needs.

What You'll Do:

  • Contracts and Legislation SME for strategic initiatives, providing consultative support to PBAB, Compliance, Implementation, and other service teams to ensure alignment with regulatory and contractual standards
  • Recommends and implements process improvements to enhance the quality and timeliness of Contracts/Legislation deliverables, while developing innovative strategies to drive departmental performance and results
  • Proactively resolves issues and ensures consistent workflows across teams and platforms
  • Coordinate with State Filing and Compliance to ensure accurate language and timely implementation of legislative mandates
  • Regularly communicates initiative status at the appropriate level of detail, tailored to the needs of each audience, including leadership
  • Drive cross-functional alignment to execute timely, high-quality actions supporting Contracts, DST, and Legislation
  • Provide guidance on applying protocols and SOPs to ensure compliant execution of Contracts and Legislation
  • Identify global trends related to systems and benefits to Management for training, coaching or other types of action plan development

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED is required, bachelor's degree preferred
  • Foundational understanding of Contracts and Legislation functional tools and processes, related goals and objectives and operational business workflows, preferred
  • Technical expertise in Compliance and/or Contracts processes, preferred
  • Proficiency in Systems and Applications, including but not limited to ePro, DST, Valor, Leg tool, Access, Word and Excel, preferred
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive a specific initiative with limited support, preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to navigate matrixed environments, build alignment, and drive results, preferred

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 63,500 - 105,800 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
