Bowl Patrol Custodial Attendant Winter 2025/26 (Manufacturing)



Summary
Ski/Ride every shift to clean on-mountain restrooms and public areas. Play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of restroom facilities within the ski resort's mountain areas. This position is responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, ensuring amenities are stocked, providing positive guest experience, and contributing to the overall appearance and reputation of the resort.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Regularly cleans and sanitizes on mountain restrooms and other public areas, including toilets, sinks, floors, and other fixtures.
Empties trash and recycling bins, replaces liners and ensures proper disposal per resort guidelines and environmental standards.
Restocks restroom supplies such as toilet paper, facial tissue, hand soap, paper towels, hand sanitizer and air fresheners.
Monitors and addresses any maintenance issues or damage and reports them to maintenance personnel and supervisors.
Laundering and delivering items from Kids Club, First Aid and Lifts as needed.
Works at a fast pace to ensure that all areas of the resort are clean and free of hazards.
Knowledgeable in Resort Activities and Happenings and able to provide superior guest service for internal and external guests.
Provide a clean and comfortable restroom environment that enhances the guest experience on the mountain.
Uphold a professional and approachable demeanor when interacting with guests, fostering a positive and welcoming atmosphere.
Adhere to all safety protocols and resort policies while performing cleaning duties, including the proper use of cleaning chemicals and personal protective equipment.
Performs other tasks and projects assigned by Management Team
Supports resort and department specific sustainability efforts.
This position requires flexibility regarding schedule. Nights, weekends, and Holidays may be required.
Job sharing may be required.


RESPONSIBILITY TO SAFETY

Protect the safety of self, co-workers, and resort guests.
Report any potentially harmful equipment or situations to the immediate supervisor without delay.
Report safety-related accidents and incidents at once to immediate supervisor.
Follow all company and department safety policies and procedures.
Operate equipment in a safe manner that will not lead to injury to yourself or others.
Drive in accordance with the law and resort policies.
Complete OSHA safety training.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Preferred to have a valid Driver's License and qualify for Resort insurance.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Previous experience in guest service and hospitality desired, cleaning experience is preferred.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively before internal and external guests.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate measurements, amounts such as amount of cleaning solution to use, proportions, percentages, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. The ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and taste or smell. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Must be at least an intermediate skier/snowboarder and able to load a chair lift and ski/ride with a backpack.
