Sr. Maintenance Associate

Location: Carol, Stream

Shift Hours: 2pm-10:30pm (M-F)

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sr. Maintenance Associate to manage the day-to-day operations of our facility. This role plays a key part in maintaining operational excellence, supporting workplace safety, and ensuring optimal use of resources. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on maintenance experience, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to sustainability and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily facility operations, ensuring all areas are functional, safe, and well-maintained
  • Estimate labor and materials costs for construction, repair, and renovation projects
  • Act as the main liaison with vendors, contractors, and suppliers to coordinate services and repairs
  • Assist in facility planning, including reviewing and estimating design costs and performance specifications
  • Conduct general maintenance and repair tasks: light carpentry, basic electrical, HVAC, and grounds upkeep
  • Support internal office moves and setup, including arranging furniture and partitions
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and company facility standards
  • Recommend and implement operational improvements to increase facility efficiency and reduce environmental impact
  • Lead or support projects focused on reducing energy, water, and natural resource consumption
  • May lead or mentor junior team members and provide training on facility protocols

What You Bring:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical certification preferred
  • 8+ years of facility maintenance experience, including 4+ years in electrical and pneumatics
  • Skilled in HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building maintenance
  • Familiar with building codes, safety procedures, and sustainable facility practices
  • Proficient in using computers for work orders, email, and digital maintenance logs
  • Strong planning, communication, and vendor management skills
  • Experienced in project cost estimation, materials sourcing, and contractor coordination
  • Physically capable of lifting, moving equipment, and performing hands-on repairs

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $58,800.00 - $94,100.00 per year.

The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate's primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.
