Manufacturing Equipment Technician (Finance)

In your future role at the Madison, Wisconsin site of the global leader in genetic sequencing, you will be part of our team who ensure that the equipment and instruments we use to produce the reagents for Illumina's sequencing products for analysis of genetic variation are functioning and maintained within the requirements of a cGMP and ISO13485 regulated environment . Working individually and on diverse teams, you will be responsible for the calibration, maintenance, and associated documentation processes of the wide array of laboratory, pilot plant, and production scale manufacturing equipment. Responsibilities

  • Works with cross functional teams and third-party vendors to schedule, calibrate, maintain, and document issues of equipment and systems
  • Works with cross functional teams on projects to improve and develop processes/equipment using lean manufacturing
  • Works with cross functional teams to determine calibration/maintenance requirements and procedures
  • Ability to function efficiently within a ticket-based equipment management system software
  • Create, document, and execute calibration and maintenance protocols to provide continually improving overall equipment effectiveness following cGMP/GLP guidelines.
  • Support of internal processes to ensure Regulatory compliance is maintained
  • Collaborate with Illumina interdisciplinary teams locally, nationally, and internationally to exchange best practices, develop, or align processes, and complete projects

  • Ability to stay nimble and manage changing priorities
  • 0-5 years relevant experience

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; Associates Degree preferred, or equivalent experience

The estimated base hourly range for the Manufacturing Equipment Technician role based in the United States of America is: $19.27 - $28.89. Should the level or location of the role change during the hiring process, the applicable base pay range may be updated accordingly. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to, an individual's qualifications, location where the role is to be performed, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, all employees are eligible for one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
