Faculty Liaison (Cardiac Admin CT Surgery) (Finance)



Nemours is seeking a Faculty Liaison (Cardiac Center) FULL-TIME, to join our team in Orlando, Florida.

The Faculty Liaison provides administrative support to the Cardiac Center - FL This individual will coordinate all aspects of the onboarding process, including but not limited to, working with vendor to obtain medical licenses and DEAs, complete the credentialing process with Nemours and all partnership sites across Florida, provide direct support to incoming provider during their onboarding process. This individual will regularly update operational leaders of new provider's progress, identify delays and work with vendors, credentialing, and others to improve process changes relating to onboarding. Regular attendance on all onboarding related huddles. Once privileges are granted this individual will work with operations and enter all MyTech tickets and partner with HR for proper clearance to start the provider on time.

This position is responsible for the following:

  • Faculty Liaison to the Orlando Practice will provide support to new providers during their onboarding process.
  • Partner with Nemours credentialing and complete credentialing packet on behalf of provider. Regularly attend Nemours credentialing update huddles.
  • Work with licensing vendor on applications for all medical licenses and DEA. Regularly attend licensing update huddles.
  • Provides support to providers applying for medical staff privileges at partner hospitals. Serve as the liaison between provider and medical staff office at partner hospitals.
  • Maintains divisional records including files and electronic communications, database, spreadsheets, etc. Distributes information and reports as directed.
  • Organizes and maintains highly confidential files.
  • Functions as a liaison in inter and intra departmental communications.
  • Provide daily administrative support to members of the leadership team, including, but not limited to, coordination and oversight of calendars to ensure accurate schedule of appointments / interviews. Assist in the coordination and support of enterprise/department/divisional projects and initiatives.
  • Function as a liaison in inter- and intra-departmental communication.
  • Manage/coordinate simultaneous projects and successfully prioritize multiple tasks with good judgment.
  • Coordinate business travel arrangements for associates as directed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements
  • An Associate's Degree is required; or equivalent work experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience required.
