A Day in the Life of an Accountant
As an Accountant under the guidance of our Controller, you will ensure the accuracy of financial records in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Responsibilities include general ledger postings, expense tracking, accounts payable, and daily bank deposits. Your detail-oriented, positive attitude will be vital to your success and your interactions with both colleagues and clients. Beyond managing your tasks, you'll collaborate with the broader team while maintaining the independence to see your assignments through to completion. We pride ourselves on ethical practice, excellent customer service, and making a meaningful difference for clients during difficult times.

Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or current enrollment as a third- or fourth-year Accounting student. Foundational understanding of accounting principles and business processes is required.
Experience:

1-3 years in accounting (accounts receivable, accounts payable, or general ledger journals)
1 year in office administration
1-3 years using QuickBooks for accounting tasks

Technical Skills: Proficient computer and typing abilities; intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office--particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word; familiarity with standard office operations and 10-key calculators.
Interpersonal Skills: Strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, organizational strength, adaptability, problem-solving, sound judgment, multitasking ability, and reliability. Works well independently and collaboratively, with consistent attendance.
