The Coordinator reports directly to the Associate Director and shares responsibility for advising and providing developmental programs, services, and resources for the fraternity/sorority community. This position coordinates a wide variety of educational and program development duties in a team-oriented environment, continuously advocating for a safe and transformational fraternity and sorority experience which contributes to student success. This position develops and maintains cooperative relationships with other University departments, implementing the University's overall mission and goals and supporting learning and development through community building, advocacy, and student engagement.Minimum Qualifications: \n This position requires a Bachelor's degree, with at least one year of related experience. \n Preferred Qualifications: \n This position requires a Bachelor's degree, with at least one year of experience in a student/affairs/student personnel position. A Master's degree in Higher Education or College Student Personnel preferred. Support and model the vision and goals of the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life (OFSL) including increasing student involvement and engagement on- and off-campus via advising, coaching, mentorship, and support to individual chapters, committees, and one or more of the following councils: Interfraternity Council, Multicultural Greek Council, National Pan-Hellenic Council, or the Panhellenic Association. Assist in overall relationship and community building.

Develop, coordinate, implement, and facilitate educational programs, services, and resources for individual students, chapters, councils, officers, advisors, and alumni through the oversight or assistance for one or more of the following areas: Education and Curriculum Development; Programming and Risk Reduction; Communication, Outreach, and Partnerships; or Accreditation, Awards, and Recognition.

Assess and benchmark departmental and fraternity, and sorority community programs, processes, and policies, and make evidence-based recommendations for improvement and maximize student co-curricular involvement and success.

Administer departmental and University policies, procedures, and guidelines which apply to student organizations, assisting student leaders in understanding and navigating them.

Support Student Success initiatives by serving on committees, attending events, facilitating presentations and showcases, and other related outreach and awareness opportunities, collaborating with other departments to achieve and promote the mission, values, and goals of Student Success.
