Cylinder Coordinator - Warehouse Associate Location: Houston, TX Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking a Cylinder Coordinator - Warehouse Associate to join our team located in Houston, TX. The Cylinder Coordinator - Warehouse Associate will be responsible for coordinating employees involved in the sorting, loading/unloading, and shipping processes to meet internal and external customer demands for cylinder gases. Responsibilities (1st Shift) - Coordinate and assist personnel sorting cylinders with communication from Production to ensure there is proper prioritization to meet daily demands. - Coordinate and assist employees unloading trucks to minimize driver wait time and strive for efficient handling of cylinders. - Operate a forklift in a safe and responsible manner. - Handle cylinders as needed to support the sorting/loading/filling and unloading processes. - Assist and coordinate loading of delivery trucks, trailers, and emergency customer requirements. - Coordinate special projects as necessary. - Assist as needed in the warehouse with loading and unloading common carriers, customer, and other deliveries. - Ensure operations are conducted in a manner that maintains the proper appearance, image, and security of the facility and equipment. - Adhere to compliance regulations and guidelines including all external regulatory agencies including FDA, DOT, EPA, OSHA, DHS, as well as all GTS-Welco and Linde policies and procedures. - Interact and coordinate with personnel on a fair and consistent basis. - Communicate effectively with plant management and supervision on daily demands, shortages, and operational issues. - Professionally interact with internal and external customers. - Perform all duties in a safe and environmentally responsible manner. - Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements - High School Degree /GED required - 5-7 years of production/distribution experience required. Industrial gas industry or equivalent experience preferred. - Ability to function independently and make logical, sound decisions. - Ability to operate a forklift in a safe and respectful manner. - Must be able to roll, push, pull and move 600+lbs cylinders and lift up to 50lbs. - Perform assignments in an organized and efficient manner. - Ability to communicate effectively with customers, employees, and management. - Must be proficient in Microsoft Word - Must be detail-oriented - Maintain a Positive and Professional attitude Linde is a leading global industrial gases and engineering company with 2024 sales of $33 billion.
