Position Overview
The Site Manager in Training role is an exciting opportunity for individuals seeking to advance their careers in security management. This position provides hands-on experience, mentorship, and professional development, with the goal of preparing the selected candidate to transition into a Security Site Manager role. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in security operations and a strong desire to grow into a leadership position within our organization.

Key Responsibilities
Operational Support:

Assist the Security Account Manager with daily security operations, ensuring compliance with all procedures and protocols.

Participate in client meetings, site visits, and inspections to understand client needs and expectations.

Support the development and implementation of tailored security strategies for each client site.

Leadership Development

Engage in leadership training and mentorship from the Security Account Manager and senior leadership team.

Gradually assume increased responsibilities, including supervising security teams, managing schedules, and handling client communications.

Develop skills in conflict resolution, team management, and strategic planning.

Performance Management

Assist in evaluating the performance of security personnel, providing feedback and coaching to maintain high standards.

Learn and apply best practices in performance management, including disciplinary actions and recognition programs.

Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and training of new security officers.

Client Relations

Build strong relationships with clients as a secondary point of contact, ensuring satisfaction with services provided.

Learn to manage client accounts, address concerns, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with service agreements.

Assist in developing client proposals and operational reports.

Administrative Support

Perform administrative tasks such as report writing, data analysis, and record-keeping to support operational efficiency.

Learn to manage budgets, invoices, and other financial components of security account management.

Professional Growth

Participate in continuous learning through company-sponsored training, industry certifications, and external seminars.

Develop a comprehensive understanding of security operations and account management in preparation for the Security Account Manager role.

Qualifications
Experience

Minimum of 2 years of experience in security operations.

Demonstrated interest in leadership and management.

Skills

Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Collaborative approach to working with teams and clients.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Working Conditions

Occasional travel to various site locations may be required.

Must be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
