Facility Maintenance Lead (Finance)
Job Details
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, compressed air, and fire protection systems.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on building infrastructure and utilities to minimize downtime and support production.
• Oversee and manage spare parts inventory; coordinate procurement for maintenance activities.
• Assist in evaluating repair costs and recommending equipment replacement when necessary.
• Lead and participate in the installation, maintenance, and repair of utility systems (electrical, gas, air, water, sewer, sprinklers, alarms).
• Assign and coordinate daily maintenance work; provide hands-on support and technical guidance to team members.
• Expedite urgent repair needs to avoid operational disruptions.
• Collaborate with contractors and vendors on upgrades, repairs, and project execution.
• Accurately document work activities in the preventive maintenance system and complete work orders, inspections, and reports.
• Promote and ensure compliance with 5S workplace organization standards.
• Follow all safety policies, environmental regulations, and company procedures; ensure all maintenance work meets legal and regulatory requirements.
• Perform physically demanding tasks, including climbing, lifting, walking, and maneuvering equipment or materials as needed.
• Install or repair electrical wiring, control systems, piping, plumbing, and mechanical components.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications Required:
Education: Certificate
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in facilities or industrial maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing or operational environment.
Experience operating powered industrial equipment; valid certification preferred.
Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor maintenance personnel.
Strong skills in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing diagnostics and repair.
Ability to manage priorities and work independently with minimal supervision.
Experience with Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and CMMS platforms preferred.
Proficient in reading blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
Certifications/Licenses: Technical certification or completion of a skilled trades program preferred (e.g., electrical, HVAC, plumbing).
