Machine Operator (Finance)

Job Details
  • Position Type: Full-Time
  • Pay Range: $20.95 - $22.32/hour
  • Work Location: Onsite - Sterling, IL 61081
  • Shift: 3 pm - 1 am (Monday-Thursday)
Key Responsibilities
  • Operate assigned mechanical equipment and applicable hand tools.
  • Perform first-piece inspections as needed.
  • Ensure items produced meet quality control requirements.
  • Conduct basic troubleshooting and make necessary equipment adjustments.
  • Read and interpret blueprints if applicable.
  • Utilize basic measuring instruments.
  • Accurately complete required documentation.
  • Maintain cleanliness of work area following 5S standards.
  • Adhere to all Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills/Competencies
  • Ability to interpret work instructions and follow written and verbal directions.
  • Basic verbal and written communication skills.
  • Fundamental mathematical skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot minor issues.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar manufacturing role.
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical equipment and measuring instruments.
  • Ability to perform tasks under general supervision and handle moderately complex issues.
  • Experience with process machines and powered industrial equipment is a plus.
