ESIS Recovery Representative (Finance)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Focus of position is to successfully investigate, evaluate and negotiate resolution of subrogation recovery actions. Individual must possess the desire to thrive in a fast-paced environment and be an independent thinker. This position interfaces with internal contacts at all levels of the organization as well as a diverse group of important external customers and vendors. The ideal location for position is in our Overland Park, KS office.

Responsibilities

• Directs investigation, evaluates third party liability, pursues subrogation recoveries, and negotiates settlements for Auto and property claims in multiple jurisdictions.
• Manage files in litigation. Direct subrogation counsel as appropriate.
• Maintain a diary of 300 to 350 subrogation files which ranges from basic to rather complex claims and large recoverable amounts.
• Communicate with brokers, insureds, claimants, liable third parties, and other insurers etc. to achieve desired results.
• Provide outstanding customer service to insureds/clients.
• Work with internal business partners to maximize recoveries.
• Utilize Inter-Company Arbitration or other Alternate Dispute Resolution when practical.
