Security Guard (Finance)
Essential duties to include, but are not limited to:
• Accounting for all people entering plant
• Roving patrols of plant to ensure facility is secure
• Staging office/security during incidents
• Monitor CIMA radio and contact CIMA during incidents
• Perform safety orientation for visitors/3rd parties
• Monitor contractors/3rd parties for safety violations
• Function as historian during incidents

Educational Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
Experience / specific knowledge:
• Certifications, licenses, registrations:
• Must possess and maintain a valid motor vehicle operator's license and a driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers
• Willingness to use personal and/or company vehicle in the course of employment
• Must pass and complete any required Kinder Morgan specific safety training as may be required by Customer(s) and as required at all Kinder Morgan work locations
• Must be able to pass required safety courses at the Houston Area Safety Council
• Must obtain and/or meet all requirements to enter foreign trade zones; such as background checks by both the U.S. Coast Guard and the Department of Homeland Security, i.e. obtain and maintain a Transportation Workers Identification Card (TWIC)
• The successful candidate will be required to clear a drug screen and a complete background check, after an offer has been extended and prior to being employed
Competencies, skills, and abilities:
• PC literacy and software navigation skills in a window-based environment are essential
• Safety in performance of duties common to the position
• In order to appropriately perform the essential duties of this job, regular work attendance is required
• Able to carry out supervisors instructions
• Self-motivated
• Must be willing to work rotating shifts, including day, night, weekends, and holidays
• Must be able to work overtime hours during the week, weekends, and holidays as dictated by operations with little or no notice
• Must be able to work with a team, take direction from supervisors, keep required work schedules, focus attention on details and follow work rules
Physical/Working Conditions:
• Regularly exposed to outside in adverse weather conditions
Preferred Experience, Skills and Knowledge
• Experience in windows based software would be advantageous
