Job Profile Title:    Principal Program Manager (Networking Development)

Location:  Remote (Austin, TX preferred)

How will you make an impact?

Jabil is seeking a Principal Program Manager to lead cross-functional design and delivery of networking hardware solutions. The Principal Program Manager is a senior role responsible for running large complex programs, including contingency planning and issue resolution. This role ensures that all programs and projects follow standard procedures and governance used in the management and deployment of programs. The Principal Program Manager contributes to and demonstrates a solid understanding of program vision and roadmap, while maintaining awareness of cross-product/program synergies and actively communicating opportunities to simplify or better align work across teams.

What will you do? 

  • Oversee the direction of multiple programs, ensuring alignment with world-wide cross-functional delivery teams.
  • Collaborate with Business Unit leaders to develop project and program resourcing strategies, ensuring optimal support for projects and daily operations.
  • Identify program impediments and guide proper escalation as needed, planning and scheduling programs to deliver key milestones and manage interdependencies.
  • Review and monitor project health with functional leaders, establishing and implementing metrics to measure project performance.
  • Track and optimize resource usage, ensuring accurate status reporting of all projects and programs.
  • Drive continuous improvement through trend reporting analysis and metrics management.
  • Manage global communications regarding release plans and deliveries, ensuring regular, active communication with customers, key stakeholders, and executives.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to customer service by anticipating, meeting, and exceeding expectations, and prioritizing customer issues.
  • Ensure compliance with company security policy procedures and maintain the quality of milestones and deliverables within program requirements.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree

Desired Experience:

  • 10+ years program management experience
  • 5+ years' experience in network hardware design and manufacturing

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:  

  • A combination of Education, training and experience will be considered
  • Demonstrated team leadership capabilities with strong communication, interpersonal, and influence skills
  • Prior experience driving collaboration with customers on hardware design projects
  • Strong operational and financial knowledge
  • Strong ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience working in a multi-site and multi-cultural environments
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 10%

The pay range for this role is $157,200 - $282,900. Job-related, non-discriminatory factors used to determine the actual offered rate include qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data, and consideration of internal equity. The anticipated close date of this job requisition is: August 31, 2025.

As part of the total rewards package, this position is eligible for a short-term incentive based on performance. In addition, Jabil offers benefits to enhance your health, wealth, and resilient self. These include medical, dental, and vision insurance plans; paid time off accruing at a rate of 3.07 hours during your first year of employment; 4 weeks of paid parental leave; in 2025, 11 company-paid holidays (9 fixed holidays and 2 optional floating holidays), subject to change yearly; 401(k) retirement plan; and employee stock purchase plan.
