Technology Planning & Execution (Finance)



The Equifax Corporate Technology Planning & Execution (P&E) is seeking a Technology Planning & Execution resource for technology teams. This role is responsible for planning, monitoring and managing complex technology initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and delivering within established timelines and budgets. This role involves collaborating with leadership to define business cases, establish metrics and KPIs, articulate desired outcomes and success criteria, as well as monitoring progress and mitigating risks. Effective communication of plans, status, and issues to stakeholders and senior management is crucial for success. The position requires expertise in various methodologies (i.e. Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid, etc.) and working across the enterprise to deliver world class cloud solutions.

Equifax has a hybrid work schedule that allows for 2 days of remote work (Monday and Friday), with 3 days onsite (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) every week.

This role reports to our office in Alpharetta, Georgia.

This position does not offer immigration sponsorship (current or future) including F-1 STEM OPT extension support.

This is a direct-hire role and is not open to C2C or vendors.

What you'll do

  • Drive initiatives with a focus on area of expertise.
  • Lead design, implementation and management of assigned initiatives.
  • Work with leadership and BU to deliver detailed designs for business cases.
  • Partner with the team to help define metrics and outcomes.
  • Monitor and communicate initiative measures of success, plans, status, issues and risks in a timely manner to team members, stakeholders and senior management.
  • Identify critical capabilities, initiative resources, budgets and critical path issues and reports to initiative sponsors/team.
  • Ensure activities and timelines are met.
  • Drive remediation discussions for any identified risks.

What experience you need
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5-7 years of technology planning, Technical Project Management, Program Management, Scrum Master, or related experience.
  • Excellent presenter and persuasive communicator.
  • Sophisticated critical thinking skills that lead others to solve complex problems; takes a broad perspective to identify innovation solutions.
  • Self-starter that identifies/responds to priority shifts with minimal supervision.
  • Success employing influential leadership without direct lines of authority.
  • Experience working in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills, with superb attention to detail.

What could set you apart

  • Exposure to a public cloud platform, preferably GCP and/or AWS.
  • Cloud Certification Strongly Preferred.
  • Experience with Project Management tools (ex. Aha!, Jira, SmartSheets).
  • Financial Management.
