DETAILS: ACI Worldwide is looking to fill one Sr. Technical Consultant position based out of its Norcross, Georgia office located at 705 Westech Drive NW, Norcross, GA 30092 (may telecommute part of time from home residence within the Atlanta, GA MSA). Job Summary: Primarily responsible for the identification/development of solutions for customers using company products, outsourced solutions and/or proprietary tools/techniques implemented by others; define customer needs and develop a plan and proposal for delivery of the project. Job Accountabilities: Implement ACI's mission-critical, high-value payment applications for several of the largest US-based, financial institutions to process wire payments in compliance with payment scheme regulators such as The Fedwire, The Clearing House, and SWIFT. Provide technical consulting for the largest US banks and financial institutions in their migration to ISO20022 protocols to process real-time payments in the USA. Provide on-premises services to the ACI's customers to develop and implement project plans while assisting with their testing, performance tuning and production roll out (deployment). Assist ACI's customers with technical specifications of hardware sizing, procurement, completing the prerequisites, and installing the ACI software. Assist ACI's customers in deploying the payment wire processing application framework by installing the core product software and setting up a successful connection with the database, while ensuring the application is stable and complete the post-installation steps. Identifying new business opportunities Real Time Payments Solutions. Mentoring co-workers & associates on ACI's proven technology for Real Time Payments. Customer Relationship Management to implement ACI's RTPS solutions in the customer's environment. Assist ACI's US customers in defining the necessary configuration utilizing ACI software for the wire payment processing of ISO20022 schemes as per the product specifications and the business requirement documents. Assist ACI's customers to perform unit, integration, regression & performance testing to ensure all the test cases are executed as per the Scheme specifications. Assess customer cases by triaging, replicating, troubleshooting and testing fixes. Work with customers to review the test results post deploying the fix and provide any assistance in the validation process. Assist ACI's customers with their performance testing to ensure the production-like volume has been injected and the ACI software performance is tuned to the requirements. Assess the demand requests from ACI's customers and provide the necessary estimates to implement the work. Participate and actively contribute throughout the project lifecycle from scope validation through to deployment. Identify software defects and create tickets to ensure fixes are built, tested and delivered to ACI's customers. Document the solution detail of customers to ensure that the project technical implementation details are captured for successful implementation of customer projects. Assist customers with their live testing of ACI's application with networks such as SWIFT, The Clearing House and The Federal Reserve by remediating any connectivity issues and supporting their test cases. Assist ACI's customers during on-the-night go-live deployment in Production and ensure the stability of the application by providing any postproduction support.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree (foreign equivalent accepted) in computer science, information systems / management or a related field and 6 years' progressively responsible experience as an analyst or related IT position. Experience must include the following specific experience and skills:

  • 6 years' experience with deploying:
    • Java-based applications in production and expertise in managing & administering these applications.
    • Payment applications in OS like RHEL, on database tiers such as Oracle SQL etc.
  • 4 years' experience with:
    • Deploying payment interfaces such as payment validation, fraud validation , and wire payment processes.
    • Integrating payments processing applications to back-end interfaces to process various payment message types such as return to sender, financial institutions to customer transfers etc.
    • Ticketing tools such as Jira, Service Now, Salesforce.
    • Scrum-based project models needed to implement & complete payment implementation projects.
  • 3 years' experience in payments application deployments including:
    • Migrations & modernization of real-time payments technologies.
    • Working with global payment networks for cross border and domestic schemes such as SWIFT, The Clearing House (TCH) & Fedwire.
    • Experience in solving highly technical and complex problems for high value real time payments projects.
    • Problem solving & risk management competencies.
    • Leading recovery efforts on at-risk implementation projects & roll back production plans.
    • An expert in software implementation methodologies & service offerings such as Implementation Services Methodologies (ISM) or Product Development Methodologies (PDM).
  • 3 years' experience in:
    • Implementing software and advanced payments applications including, payment orchestration, and payments message processing.
    • Web URL deployments such as IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS) or RedHat JBoss needed to configure application UIs, enabling clients to view wire processing statuses in web URLs.
