Relief Operator II - Hydro (Finance)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist Hydro Operations and Maintenance departments to perform various preventative maintenance and miscellaneous operational duties
  • Must become proficient with Hydro Operator duties in order to upgrade to provide relief as needed for shift replacement and supplement.
  • Perform duties to ensure safe, reliable, and economical operation of the Hydro system in compliance with all applicable state, federal, and MP safety and environmental procedures, rules, laws, and regulations.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
  • Six months or more job related work experience required.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • This position will report regularly in person to Carlton, MN
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
  • Must be:
    • Able to work 24/7 rotating shifts. Schedule will be posted in accordance with the union contract.
    • Able to use a respirator.
    • Flexible, adaptable and agile to perform additional duties as work load dictates.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, and Excel, PI, Maximo, and Oracle.
  • This position may be subject to assessment of skills, job match and/or aptitude.

BENEFITS:
  • The expected hourly compensation range for this position is $35.89 - $39.86. Compensation offered to the selected candidate will vary depending on relevant knowledge, skills, training, and experience.
