Reservations Coordinator - Zemi Miches, Curio Collection by Hilton (Finance)
Zemi Miches Punta Cana, Curio Collection by Hilton is seeking aReservations Coordinator to join their team working from a satellite office in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
This 500 room resort is located by the beautiful shores of Playa Esmerelda - Zemi Miches celebrates its local heritage through its 10 unique Restaurants and Bars, 10,000 square ft of meeting space.
Reporting to the Director of Reservations and working at the satellite location in San Juan, Puerto Rico this opportunity is perfect for a self-motivated hospitality professional.
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 1 year experience of relevant hotel operations with a strong understanding of room inventory. Candidates must be flexible with their schedule.
Shift Pattern: Weekdays between the hours of 9am - 6pm - with flexibility to adjust to business needs
Hourly Rate: $22.60 per hour

What will I be doing?
The Reservations Coordinator will work with clients and guests to respond to enquiries and booking requests in a prompt and professional manner.
- Monitor customer satisfaction regularly and resolve any outstanding issues to ensure future business
- Maintain a thorough understanding of hotel facilities and processes, and contribute to a culture of high quality standards for relationship building, customer service, selling techniques, and billing and processing contracts
- Reservation Management: Handle individual and group bookings across various channels, ensuring personalized service and upselling opportunities.
- Payment Processing: Manage and reconcile payments, refunds, and special charges according to procedures.
- System & Inventory Control: Maintain reservation systems, manage group blocks, and monitor inventory and deadlines.
- Reporting & Documentation: Generate detailed reservation lists and operational reports to track booking activity.
- Client Communication: Respond to client inquiries within 24 hours and assist with special service bookings.
- Interdepartmental Coordination: Support rate management, agreements, and collaborate with other departments.
- Administrative Support: Assist supervisors with departmental tasks and contribute to overall hotel operations.
- Ensure bookings are guaranteed and no show charges/late cancellation charges are applied where appropriate

- 1 year of relevant hotel expereince

- High level of IT skills

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
- Experience in an all-inclusive resort operation
- Knowledge of the hotel property management systems (Opera) and Mindsight SAP
- Previous experience in the Reservations/Sales function within the hotel/leisure sector
- Relevant degree or other qualification
