Director, Business Development - Integrated Solutions (Finance)

Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Lead the strategic planning process for assigned DoD and HLS segments and ensure that appropriate analysis is conducted, which includes competitive market analysis, internal review of SWOT, and categorization of opportunities.
  • Build and maintain pipeline of major pursuits to capture.
  • Build, foster, and strengthen effective communications within the customer community, current and prospective, for the purpose of assessing customer requirements, apprising the customer community of Elbit Systems Limited and Elbit Systems of America capabilities relative to their requirements, and coordinating efforts to satisfy the customer requirements.
  • Develop and manage presentations to prospective customers and current customers within assigned markets.
  • Analyze opportunities for requirements and associated gaps in our offerings, partnering strategies, competitive analysis, opportunities for investment and value creation and all other aspects of pursuit plan.
  • Serve as liaison between US customers and Elbit Systems Inegrated Solutions Division Marketing, Engineering, Contracts and other key personnel as required for successful pursuit of new business.
  • Develop and manage activities with HLS and associated organizations.

Education, Experience & License or Certification

Education, Experience & License or Certification

  • Master degree is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree is required
  • Specific Degree Field Required: BA or BS
  • 10+ years of functional (using skill set) experience is required
  • 5-10 years of management experience is required
  • 10+ years of industry experience is required
  • Training Pre-requisites (Within One Year of Taking Position):
    • ESD
    • Safety Training, as dictated by Safety Department

Skills and Abilities

Skills and Abilities

  • Engineering and Technical background highly desirable.
  • Detailed knowledge of how the US Military and HLS generate and complete material requirements is desired.
  • Proven track record of successful contract wins and documented business growth.
  • Will have 10+ years experience in DOD business development.
  • Military or Customs and Border Patrol Background preferred. Experience with counter intrusion, border security technologies is highly desired.
  • Must be a team player, independent thinker, and strategy minded, while being an hands on executer.
  • Strong influencing skills and ability to build alliances.
  • Excellent communication with interpersonal and analytical skills.
  • A strong work ethic coupled with good business sense.
  • A management styles that leads by example and the ability to serve as a team player that can focus on the business objectives of the organization.
  • Strong skills in sales and ability to be a business partner.

  • Must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time
  • Some work locations may be remote and austere to interface with customers and support product deployments.
