Your Role: Strategic Accounts Field Activation Leader
The Strategic Accounts Field Activation Leader is responsible for equipping the sales and strategic partnerships team with the necessary tools, content, and support to boost corporate contractual awareness, drive customer compliance, and ultimately increase revenue and gross profit. This role translates the strategic partnerships strategy into an actionable go to market plan, ensuring the commercial teams have tailored resources aligned with that customer journey. As a key partner to the commercial team, this leader ensures alignment across sales, marketing, finance, and other internal stakeholders to optimize Elanco sales performance and customer satisfaction.
Your Responsibilities:
Support the commercial teams by providing them with the tools, training, and resources to drive growth both within their existing customer base but also with new business opportunities based on our strategic partnerships' strategy.
Provide consistent, seamless messaging internally & externally to maximize sales revenue and gross profit.
Accountable as the owner of Go to Market (GTM) initiatives for Strategic partnerships ensuring that development and implementation plans align with business and company goals.
Ensure that the strategy execution is tailored based on customer segmentation
Evaluates and prioritizes key initiatives against agreed upon strategies and priorities with respective stakeholders across the company.
Build and foster strong, productive partnerships focused on ensuring mutual success for the Strategic partnerships team and across our entire Elanco portfolio; develops a trusted advisor relationship with key stakeholders and executive sponsors.
Partners with the respective US Pet Health business leaders to become a SME on the different product portfolios, brand value propositions and sales & marketing resources available to promote our Elanco portfolio.
Enable activation of strategic partnerships strategy through development of playbooks, customer presentations, and field communication. This activation will be tailored by the type of customer and the prioritization assigned.
Will project manage these key commercial initiatives from start to finish.
Serve as a change agent and process champion striving for operational excellence across our strategic partnerships team.
Prepares and delivers effective specific presentations to be leveraged by the commercial teams, focusing on concise, actionable information that is readily embraced by the customer and drives additional growth.
Interact regularly with all levels of our US Pet Health leadership team.
Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates the strategic partnership team needs on an ongoing basis.
Execute enterprise level customer service requests and coordinate with appropriate departments and personnel to ensure customer satisfaction of our respective partners.
Partners with our cross-functional teams such as Revenue growth, Marketing, Launch operations, etc. to help support these strategic partnership key initiatives.
Reports out monthly to Leadership on activities, performance, & updates on key initiatives.
Communicates frequently with all levels within Elanco and cross functional teams.
Leads and assists in other projects and performs other duties as assigned.
What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):
Bachelor's degree required, MBA optional.
10+ years of experience working in or with a close partnership of Sales or Corporate accounts/GPOs.
Animal health industry, preferred.
Synthesizing and conveying complex information in a way that others can readily follow.
Proficiencies with Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Excel required.

Elanco currently anticipates that the base salary for this position could range from $103,000 to $170,000 depending partly on the successful candidate's qualifications, including education and experience. Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending partly on company and individual performance). Additionally, Elanco offers a comprehensive benefit program to eligible employees that includes a company-matching 401(k); vacation benefits; eligibility for medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug benefits; flexible benefits (e.g., healthcare and/or dependent day care flexible spending accounts); life insurance and death benefits; certain time off and leave of absence benefits; and well-being benefits (e.g., employee assistance program, fitness benefits, and employee clubs and activities). Of course, the compensation is subject to change and could be higher or lower than the range described above.
