Senior Semiconductor Technician (Finance)



As a Senior Semiconductor Technician here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Aerospace Technologies business unit in Plymouth. You will utilize your technical expertise to ensure the smooth operation of semiconductor manufacturing processes and systems, contributing to the success of our projects and the overall growth of our business.

In this role, you will impact the Aerospace Technologies business unit by providing technical support, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the quality and efficiency of our semiconductor manufacturing processes. Your attention to detail and ability to solve complex problems will be instrumental in meeting project deadlines and delivering high-quality results.As a Senior Semiconductor Technician here at Honeywell, you will support the development and manufacturing of semiconductor products, ensuring high-quality standards through technical tasks in production and testing. You will report directly to our Semiconductor Manufacturing Engineer Supervisor and you'll work out of our Plymouth, MN location.YOU MUST HAVE

  • Troubleshoot and repair state-of-the-art semiconductor equipment experience required.
  • Associate's degree or equivalent certificate in electronics, electrical or automation; In lieu of an Associate's degree or certificate, electronic troubleshooting and repair military experience will be considered.
  • Experience with quality control and compliance in manufacturing environments.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Troubleshoot and repair state-of-the-art semiconductor equipment.
  • To include the following subsystems: robotic control, RF generators, lasers of several classes, optics, high vacuum, toxic / corrosive gas and chemical control systems.
  • Develop and implement preventative and maintenance procedures, installation and modifications of semiconductor equipment.
  • Interface with engineering, operation technicians, vendors and facility personnel to solve equipment problems.
  • Continuous training, 40 hrs / year minimum. (Job related)
  • Participate in a lean manufacturing environment, utilizing 5s, Kaizen, Rapid Problem Solving and other lean tools.
  • Ability to work 10% - 25% overtime as needed.

The salary range for this position is $73,300-$110,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
