Test Technician II (Finance)



Defense Hardware Qualification Technician As a Defense Hardware Qualification Technician here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in the testing and qualification of defense hardware products. You will work closely with the engineering team to ensure that the products meet the required standards and specifications. Your expertise in hardware testing and troubleshooting will be instrumental in ensuring the reliability and performance of our defense hardware products.

You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and you'll work out of our Clearwater, FL location. In this role, you will impact the quality and reliability of our defense hardware products, ensuring that they meet the highest standards for our customers in the defense industry.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct testing and qualification of defense hardware products

• Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis of hardware issues

• Collaborate with the engineering team to develop test plans and procedures

• Document test results and provide recommendations for product improvements

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 6+ years of experience in testing and evaluation of electronic devices.
  • Due to Government regulations, U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow test procedures

• Knowledge of defense industry standards and specifications

• Experience with environmental testing (temperature, humidity, vibration, etc.)

• Familiarity with test equipment and tools
