Field Manager (Dallas Area) (Project Management)



About us
In 1971, Leon and Doris Levinthal opened a small cabinetry plant in East Bernard just west of Houston. As a playful twist using both their first names, Leedo was created. Recognizing the booming housing market in Texas, Vic Samuels purchased Leedo in 1981. As European style cabinetry increased in popularity, in 2013 Leedo added a European frameless plant in El Campo, Texas. After fifty years, Leedo is still family owned and has grown in production capabilities to over 600,000 cabinets per year to support multi-family builders, single family builders and distributor partners across the country.

Located in the Dallas, Texas area, the Field Manager will be responsible for work in the field while managing the day-to-day work standards ensuring proficient and effective installations are met per customer specifications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Perform service and warranty work in the field.Manage standard work for daily proficiency and effectiveness.Inspect Installation.Overall responsibility for quality and cost-effective installations.Measure projects, process layouts, prepare orders, and give information to Customer Service Representatives, Installers, Sales, and appropriate personnel.Develop and maintain effective business relationships with building superintendents and installers.Build relationships in the field.Achieve monthly commitments in expense control.Participate in management staff meetings to communicate and receive information.Manage delivery schedule in coordination with the general contractor to deliver products to job sites as needed.Cover, assist, and train in other areas.Support efforts by all members of the Leedo Team to continuously improve departmental, location, and company performance.Drive to customer sites to manage the installation from installation to completion.Other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Results-oriented.Problem solving skills.Ability to manage process.Action-oriented.Effective communication skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth, and rapidly changing environment.Ability to read project plans and drawings.Ability to develop and maintain effective business relationships with building superintendents and subcontractors.Computer skills including Microsoft products, 2020 or other CAD experience a plus.Excellent oral and written communication and organizational skills.Must have the ability to effectively judge construction stages and schedule deliveries accordingly.
Education and/or Experience
Minimum of a high school diploma with a certificate from a technical or trade school related to the building materials industry, education beyond high school a plus.Minimum of 3 to 5 years of field experience i.e., cabinet installation, service, order entry and delivery scheduling, and managing subcontractors.Cabinetry and Single-family experience highly preferred but not required.Driving is a requirement for this position. A valid drivers license is required.Satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle report.
