Branch Manager - Lawrence Trailer & Truck Equipment (LTTE) (Transportation)
As part of Lawrence Companies, our LTTE division specializes in truck and trailer equipment sales, upfitting, repair, servicing, parts, and customization. With two strategically located facilities in Roanoke and Ashland, VA, LTTE serves a wide spectrum of industries with product lines ranging from service bodies, dump bodies, and trailers, to accessories such as lift gates, snowplows, couplers, lighting and more.
Position Summary
The Branch Manager will oversee all operations at our LTTE Roanoke location. Reporting to executive leadership, this role ensures financial performance, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence while promoting LTTEs culture of employee-ownership and service quality.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily branch operations: sales, service, parts, upfitting, and repair.Oversee and execute sales strategies within the division, ensuring consistent revenue growth and market share expansion.Lead, coach, and develop a cross-functional team (sales associates, service techs, parts staff)Drive branch financials: P&L accountability, revenue growth, cost control, target attainment.Enhance client relationships: develop strategic accounts, respond proactively to customer needs.Maintain inventory and ordering of parts and materials.Enforce safety, compliance, quality, and operational standards.Implement local branch initiatives aligned with corporate goals.Foster LTTEs employee-owned culture; promote teamwork and accountability.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in business, Logistics, Operations Management, or equivalent (preferred)5+ years in management within truck/trailer equipment, automotive, parts, or service center environmentStrong leadership with proven team building and staff development skills.Financial acumen: budgeting, forecasting, margin managementExcellent customer service orientation and B2B sales capabilityProficiency with industry software, MS Office & CRM experience required, RIMSS (preferred)Valid drivers license (CDL beneficial)Commitment to safety standards and regulatory compliance
