Your Role: Global Talent Development Consultant - US Pet Health

The Global Talent Development Consultant – US Pet Health will design, develop, and deliver learning experiences that build critical leadership and business capabilities for both individual contributors and people leaders. This role plays a key part in advancing the talent development strategy within US Pet Health by identifying skill gaps, creating tailored, high-impact solutions, and ensuring learning drives both individual growth and business results. With a focus on clarity, effectiveness, and engagement, this role will bring learning to life in ways that are aligned to the needs of the business and the development goals of its people. This role reports directly to the Senior Consultant of Global Talent Development with a dotted line to the US Pet Health HR Strategic Business Partner.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deliver engaging learning experiences across various formats (live sessions, self-directed modules, digital learning) aligned with US Pet Health business objectives and learner needs.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, subject matter experts, and Global Talent Development to create, curate, and scale learning solutions, with a focus on leadership development and business acumen.

  • Continuously improve learning programs based on data analysis, learner feedback, and emerging trends, adapting to evolving business needs and customer expectations.

  • Provide consultative support to US Pet Health leaders, assessing developmental needs, co-creating solutions, measuring effectiveness, and demonstrating business value.

  • Manage vendor relationships, internal trainer/facilitator networks, and communications to ensure high-quality program delivery and promote the learning portfolio.

What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in learning and development, including the end-to-end design, development, and delivery of learning programs and consulting with business stakeholders

  • Excellence in learning program development and delivery (including strong ability to facilitate engaging learning experiences for diverse audiences (individual contributors and leaders) in both live and virtual settings, and stakeholder collaboration and consultation

What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications):

  • Project Management: Proven ability to manage learning projects from conception to evaluation, including stakeholder alignment, timelines, delivery, and impact measurement.

  • Instructional Design Expertise: Deep understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design, demonstrated by successful curriculum development and measurable organizational impact.

  • Learning Technology Proficiency: Working knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other learning technologies (e.g., e-learning platforms, digital content design tools) to support program delivery.

  • Collaboration and Influencing Skills: Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across functions and navigate a matrixed, global organization to achieve shared goals.

  • Business Acumen: General understanding of business fundamentals and financial levers, with the ability to align learning with strategic priorities. Demonstrated skill in reaching a range of learners—including those in field-based, fast-moving roles—with clear, compelling development experiences.

Additional Information:

  • Travel: Minimal, approximately 10%

  • Location: Global Elanco Headquarters - Greenfield, IN - Hybrid Work Environment transitioning to downtown Indianapolis in Fall 2025
