Senior Product Designer, Payments & Subscriptions (Finance)
Yahoo is seeking a curious and craft-minded product designer to lead the design of new tools and experiences that power how users pay for and subscribe to Yahoo's suite of premium services.
As a Senior Product Designer on the Platforms design team , you will shape the end-to-end payments and subscription journey-from sign-up and checkout to payment management and retention.
This role will be instrumental in making Yahoo's subscription and payment products easy to understand, trustworthy, and effortless to use. You'll design experiences that empower users to discover value, manage their plans, and feel confident in their relationship with Yahoo's paid offerings. You will collaborate with other designers, Product Managers, Engineers, Researchers, and Content Strategists to deliver experiences that balance business goals with user needs, while ensuring the highest standards in usability, accessibility, and design craft.
As a designer, your work will touch many products crucial to the user experience and core business, while helping build and maintain the highest level of design integrity for the team.
This role demands exceptional interaction and visual design, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration. Experience with modern design tools and principles, utilizing critique, design basics, and design-led influence, are crucial to success both as an individual contributor and team member. We're especially interested in designers who bring experience using AI-powered design tools (such as for ideation, prototyping, or user research analysis) or who are excited to embrace AI as a collaborator in the creative process. The compensation for this position ranges from $128,250.00 - $266,875.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience.The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions.
