Document Control Intern (Finance)



Job Summary:

The Document Control Intern will support the Quality Assurance team by assisting with the organization, maintenance, and updating of critical documentation in accordance with internal procedures and compliance standards. This internship provides hands-on experience with document lifecycle management, quality system records, and regulatory documentation practices. The role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to handle confidential materials with discretion.
Essential Responsibilities:

  • Reorganize files related to Change Notifications for accuracy and accessibility.
  • Assist in generating Change Request Forms for Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WIs), and Forms.
  • Prepare Summary of Changes documentation for all revised SOPs, WIs, and Forms.
  • Create Requests to Obsolete for outdated or superseded documents.
  • Update and maintain Obsolete Document Logs as directed.
  • Revise Table of Contents sheets for Controlled Document binders to reflect the latest versions.
  • Work with team members to clear hallway file cabinets, identifying documents for secure disposal or archiving in banker boxes for warehouse storage.
  • Organize and file historical SCARs (Supplier Corrective Action Requests) from 2014-2023 in storage boxes.
  • File completed CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) documents appropriately.
  • Relocate expired materials into the designated non-conforming product area.
  • Assist in filing Sustainability-related documents under the guidance of the Sustainability Lead.
  • Support additional document control and quality-related tasks as assigned.
