Technician I (Finance)
The primary function of this position is to perform PDI's on Industrial Division Equipment prior to delivery.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :
Education :
Must have a high school education or GED.
Work Experience :
Prefer some working mechanical knowledge on IC engines and/or electrical systems.
Physical :
Must be able to daily and repeatedly stoop, kneel, bend and climb besides, onto and underneath various equipment to perform repairs. Must be able to effectively see to perform repairs, research technical manuals, and develop written repair work order reports. Must be able to routinely and physically lift various parts to perform repairs/service and manually handle parts up to 95 pounds and manually handle parts up to 100 pounds.
Other :
Must be able to effectively document repair activities on work orders. Must have cognitive reasoning and problem-solving skills to apply knowledge, written information and verbal instructions in servicing unusual and/or unknown technical equipment operational problems. You should have basic proficiency using P.C. base equipment and parts information.
Additional: A valid state driver's license is required (obtain within 30 days of hire a valid license within the state of GPLS's operation) AND possess a safe driving record, as outlined in our GPLS Motor Vehicle Policy.
