A Day in the Life

The Advanced Analytics Consultant will partner with the Patient Access Acceleration leader and team to update strategic marketing tools and the analytics platform. This role involves transforming current analytic tools into a more advanced front-end product using Power BI or similar software. Collaboration with the back-end IT team is essential to ensure continuity in the architecture.

The candidate will join a dynamic team working across Medtronic's portfolio, leveraging their vision and expertise to innovate tools and integrate the voice of the internal customer.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
• Develop, inspect, mine, transform, and model data to enhance productivity, improve decision-making, and gain competitive advantage.
• Conduct statistical analysis to ensure accurate predictive forecasting and classification.
• Manage all aspects of end-to-end data processing using customized report-building functions.
• Maintain analytical systems, verify data accuracy, and act as a liaison to the business.

• Support training efforts for Marketing and Strategy groups globally.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree with 10+ years of work experience in analytics, including Power BI (8+ years with an Advanced degree)

Nice to Have

• Proficiency in Power BI: Experience in developing and managing Power BI dashboards and reports, including data modeling, DAX, and Power Query.
• Collaboration with IT Teams: Proven ability to work closely with IT teams to integrate and optimize data sources, ensure data quality, and implement best practices for data governance.
• Advanced Analytics Skills: Strong background in statistical analysis, machine learning, and data visualization techniques.
• Project Management: Experience in managing analytics projects, including defining project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
• Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate complex analytical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$153,600.00 - $230,400.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
