Overview

The Line Service Associate at Cook Aviation provides general aircraft service that may include fueling, moving, and de-icing. This individual reports to the Line Service Manager.

Responsibilities

• General Customer Service
• Park & Tie Down Aircraft
• Fuel Aircraft With Jet A & 100LL Avgas
• Assist in Aviation Fuel Quality Control Procedures
• Wash & Wax Aviation Fuel Trucks & Rental Vehicles
• Fuel Rental Automobiles
• Assist All Managers As Required With Misc. Line Service Duties
• After Hours Refueling Aircraft Availability & Special Charters
• Move Aircraft With Tugs
• De-Ice Aircraft Following Proper Safety Procedures
• Pre-Heat Aircraft Following Proper Safety Procedures
• Inventory of Fuels & Oils
• Weekly Equipment Check List / Monthly Tire Pressure Check List
• Valid Indiana Driver's License
• Supplies Inventory Check List
• Record of Trucks & Auto Renal Mileages
• Assistance in Snow Removal Following Safety Procedures
• Opening Procedures In The Mornings
• Closing Procedures In Closing The Business

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to lift 50 lbs when fueling aircraft and baggage handling
• Aviation experience is a plus
