Responsibilities
- Oversee all nursing operations and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance nursing practices and patient care.
- Recruit, train, and manage nursing staff, providing professional development and mentorship.
- Monitor patient outcomes and quality of care, making necessary adjustments to improve service delivery.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Manage departmental budgets, including staffing, supplies, and resources.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and address any staff issues or concerns promptly.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) license with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing; a Master's degree preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of nursing experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of nursing practices, healthcare regulations, and quality improvement processes.
- Proven ability to develop and implement effective nursing programs and policies.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on team collaboration.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
