Manager - Human Resources

Overview
The primary purpose of this role is responsibility for creating the business and/or functional requirements necessary for technology solutions that meet customer needs, expected delivery dates, and exceptional quality standards. The Associate Manager Human Resources role plays the role of a people leader within the HR Team and provides strategic Human Resources direction to optimize talent, structure, process, and culture within assigned Business Units.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a key, trusted advisor and facilitator of people initiatives for the executive leadership team, ensuring HRBP's are aligned globally.
  • Partner with business unit leaders to understand business goals and align the people strategy to complement these goals.
  • Develop and administer programs to help align the workforce with strategic goals.
  • Provide consultation and guidance to leaders and the global HRBP team regarding all people-related items, including promotions, performance management, discipline, and terminations.
  • Assist employees and leaders with navigating difficult situations.
  • Respond to employee and leader inquiries regarding company policies, programs, and benefits.
  • Ensure policies and programs are consistently applied in accordance with core values, aware of industry trends and changes in legal requirements.
  • Provide direction, recommendations, and guidance to leaders and the global HRBP team regarding local employment laws.
  • Deliver compensation administration, including promotion recommendations, administration of salary review process, and distribution of approved total rewards.
  • Support employee engagement, talent management, and community engagement.
  • Provide organizational design support, including job analysis and role profile creation.
  • Prepare employee separation notices and related documentation.
  • Provide goal-setting support related to business unit and individual goals.
  • Represent the company at unemployment and employment-related hearings.
  • Assist with new hire onboarding process.
  • Serve as a project team member to ensure deliverables and deadlines are met.
  • Prepare training materials and conduct training sessions as needed.
  • Make sound judgments about when to escalate an issue and who to escalate it to.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources (Preferred)

Experience
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience; 3-5 years with Management experience (Preferred) at the Senior level or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in supporting technology companies (Preferred)

Travel Requirements
  • Up to 15% travel may be required.

Working Arrangements
  • Standard work week or as defined by assignment requirements.
  • Primarily works in a standard office environment or remotely.
  • May require after-hours, on-call support, and/or holidays.
  • On-call and after-hours work during peak times including end of month/quarter/year; during this time PTO is limited to meet business needs.

Additional Responsibilities
  • Actively engage in data-based decision making and guide the team to do the same.
  • Facilitate coaching and development efforts for the team.
  • Facilitate change management for the team.
  • Actively participate in employee engagement and retention initiatives.

Salary Range

$105,000 - $115,000 USD
