Graphic Designer (Creative Design)

Leidos QTC Health Services is seeking a Graphic Designer. Reporting to the LQTC External Communications Manager, the Graphic Designer will develop branded visual content that supports marketing campaigns, events, presentations, and executive communications. This role requires strong visual storytelling skills, deep familiarity with brand standards, and the ability to manage multiple projects from concept through final delivery.

The ideal candidate is a visual communicator who thrives in a collaborative environment and has a passion for producing high-quality, on-brand creative work. This role will also collaborate with the Leidos Creative team and Marketing and Brand Experience Center of Excellence to ensure all creative outputs align with enterprise brand guidelines and standards.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design and produce marketing and communications materials including digital graphics, presentations, social media assets, signage, collateral, event materials, and internal documents.
  • Apply and uphold Leidos and LQTC brand standards across all creative outputs, ensuring visual consistency and quality.
  • Collaborate with the Leidos and LQTC communications and marketing team, project managers, and subject matter experts to deliver creative assets that support campaign and messaging goals.
  • Coordinate with the Leidos Creative team and Marketing and Brand Experience Center of Excellence to ensure all materials align with enterprise design standards.
  • Repurpose and adapt existing creative assets into new formats for both print and digital channels.
  • Manage multiple design requests simultaneously, balancing deadlines and attention to detail.
  • Participate in creative discussions and brainstorming sessions, contributing strategic visual ideas and solutions.
  • Maintain organized files, follow established workflows, and prepare final deliverables for print and digital distribution.
  • Stay current on design trends, tools, and techniques to continually improve output.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual communications, or a related field; equivalent experience will also be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in professional design experience in a corporate or agency environment
  • Experience creating graphics for social media, events, and other digital platforms
  • Experience producing visual assets for both print and digital formats

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working within established brand guidelines as part of an in-house creative or communications team
  • Experience supporting communications in healthcare, government, or regulated industries
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in layout, typography, color theory, and brand-aligned visual storytelling (online portfolio preferred)
  • Familiarity with basic motion graphics or animation tools (e.g. After Effects Canva, PowerPoint animations)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Word
  • Understanding of basic print production and preparing press-ready files
  • Knowledge of trade show display design and graphics coordination
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards for digital content 
  • Comfort collaborating across distributed teams and adjusting to shifting priorities
