Fitter Journeyman, Union (Finance)



As a Fitter Journeyman here at Honeywell, you will play a vital role in the assembly and installation of various systems and components, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. Your expertise will contribute to the successful execution of projects, enhancing operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

You will report directly to our Operations Manager and you'll work out of Mount Laurel, NJ area and customer sites

In this role, you will impact the overall success of our projects by delivering exceptional fitting services, collaborating with team members, and maintaining a focus on quality and safety throughout the installation process.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform fitting and assembly of mechanical systems and components according to specifications and blueprints.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards during all fitting operations.
  • Collaborate with engineering and project teams to troubleshoot and resolve fitting-related issues.

The application period for the job is estimated to be 40 days from the job posting date; however, this may be shortened or extended depending on business needs and the availability of qualified candidates.As a Fitter Journeyman at Honeywell in Mount Laurel, NJ, you will be responsible for the precise assembly and installation of mechanical systems, ensuring quality and safety compliance. Reporting to the Operations Manager and working at customer sites, you will collaborate with engineering and project teams to resolve fitting-related challenges, directly contributing to project success and customer satisfaction.YOU MUST HAVE
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in fitting or related roles.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and fitting techniques.
  • Proficiency in using fitting tools and equipment.
  • Experience with reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and quality standards in fitting operations.
