Expeditor (Administrative)



Since our beginning over 50 years ago, WeldFit has become a leading manufacturer of standard and custom products for the pipeline, refining and petrochemical industries. Headquartered in Houston, Texas, our products are used around the world. Known for quality and reliability.

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our dynamic manufacturing team as an Expeditor. The Manufacturing Expeditor will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of materials through the production process. This position requires excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to collaborate with various departments to meet production targets.

Other Duties/Expectations

  • Contact vendors for PO updates
  • Tracking orders
  • Handling delivery delays
  • Coordinate with Production Control, P.M., & Inventory Control
  • Help with MRO procurement
  • Must be able to work overtime and weekends with minimum notice
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
  • Work and think safety at all times, reporting of all unsafe working conditions to his/her supervisor

Experience Levels

  • Up to about a year of basic experience.

Education/Experience

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Prior experience in maintenance and warehouse setting
