Temporary Talent Acquisition Partner, Cincinnati-Hybrid (Creative Design)
The E.W. Scripps is seeking a Temporary Talent Acquisition Partner for a 6-month, full-time opportunity. In this role, you'll focus on sourcing and building a strong talent pipeline to support our Senior Talent Acquisition Partners—for various roles throughout our organization.
You'll play a key role in identifying top talent, engaging passive candidates, and ensuring a smooth and professional experience for both candidates and hiring teams. We're looking for someone who brings energy, creativity, and a strategic mindset to talent acquisition.
This is a hybrid role based in Downtown Cincinnati, with 2 in-office days per week.

What You'll Do:
Support and coordinate the recruiting process which entails everything from:
Partner with a team of Sr. Talent Acquistions partners to source and qualify applicants for various roles throughout the organization
advertising the position broadly to sourcing qualified candidates
screening resumes to conducting and documenting initial screens to driving and participating in the interview process
evaluating candidates to securing background and pre-employment assessments, and
working with hiring managers and HR to extend and manage offers to following up with candidates not selected and creating a strong positive candidates experience for all.
Maintain all pertinent hiring/applicant data in the applicant tracking system
Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need by utilizing aggressive sourcing strategies.
Post openings in our aggregator, local advertisements, professional organizations and via social media avenues; use social and professional networking sites to identify, source and create connections with both active and passive candidates
Build and communicate an attractive value proposition for prospective candidates including information on Scripps, the brand/division, the position, Scripps benefits, etc.
Ensure a positive candidate experience by providing timely feedback and status updates, guiding candidates through the process, soliciting candidate requirements, negotiating, and selling fair and equitable offers of employment
Conduct interviews and interpret the results of employment tests, assess candidate qualifications and confidently present findings to hiring managers
Stay up-to-date on trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to talent acquisition and the media industry to provide strategic insights and guidance to managers and partners.
Perform other duties as assigned
What You'll Need:
BS/BA in related discipline preferred or equivalent years of experience
Generally, 2+ year of experience in recruiting preferred.

Ability to travel for recruitment meetings and maintain a flexible work schedule on an as-needed basis
Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment as well as experience with applicant tracking systems
