THE BUSINESS UNIT

This position is intended to convey to the new, independent company, to be named Solstice Advanced Materials when the separation occurs. This is expected to occur in late 2025 or early 2026.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Product Manager to lead our product portfolio strategy and drive the success of our offerings. In this role, you will be responsible for defining and executing the product strategy and coordinating closely with supply chain and sales to execute our business operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of product management, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for driving innovation and growth.

Location: Morris Plains, NJ

Travel/Territory: 10-20% Travel; Domestic and InternationalYOU MUST HAVE:

  • Minimum of 6 years of expertise leading marketing, strategic planning, or product management
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in B2B marketing within the Polymers/ Chemicals industry
  • Proven track record in portfolio performance management and lifecycle management.
  • Experience in coordinating with sales, supply chain, and operations via a Sales, Inventory, and Operations planning cycle.

WE VALUE:
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Math, Engineering, Marketing, or Management, preferred or other Technical Discipline
  • An MBA is highly preferred

  • Experience coordinating with supply chain, sales, and finance to deliver on customer commitments and optimize the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Portfolio Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive product portfolio strategy aligned with business objectives and market opportunities. Define the annual goals for customer and distributor plans and execute with supply chain.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, pricing, supply chain, marketing, and sales, to drive portfolio initiatives forward. Facilitate communication and coordination between teams to ensure successful business operations.

Market Analysis and Opportunity Identification: Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive threats. Identify new opportunities for product expansion, discontinuation, or innovation within the portfolio.

Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including executives, customers, partners, and industry influencers. Serve as the primary point of contact for portfolio-related matters and ensure stakeholders are informed and engaged.

Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor key performance metrics for the product portfolio, including revenue, margins, market share, and customer satisfaction. Analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement including pricing analysis and drive continuous optimization.

Global Business Operations: Coordinate closely with sales, supply chain, quality, and logistics to improve our processes and reduce waste in our business practices to improve customer satisfaction.About Us
