Position Overview
The Director of Artificial Intelligence (AI) is responsible for leading the organization's Responsible AI Alliance (RAIA) and maintain a responsible AI program for the enterprise.
This position will lead the strategic implementation of AI-driven solutions to help transform operations, enhance customer experiences, and drive innovation across the organization. This role combines technical expertise, leadership, and business acumen to ensure AI initiatives align with organizational goals and operate within regulatory requirements.
What You'll Do
Manage team ensuring that there are adequate resources, skills, and succession plans to support existing and future business needs. Formalize capacity and performance management.
Ensure AI solutions are performing as expected and securely, and that any performance and risk issues are resolved in a timely fashion. Develop and maintain a set of KPIs and KRIs to monitor performance.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of AI regulatory, industry, best practices, technologies, architectures, and emerging technologies.
Assist in the facilitation of competency/knowledge management and succession planning.
Manage and enhance relationships across the organization.
Produce accurate assessments for business partners outlining AI solutions, capabilities, risks, and methodologies.
Leadership and developing high-performing teams.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field)
10+ years of IT experience; 5+ years of AI experience a plus
Leadership experience is a must
Must have excellent organizational skills, an attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with interpersonal and customer service skills.
Experience working with multiple business units

Compensation
The estimated salary range for this role is $141,000.00 - $200,000.00, along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate's qualifications, skills and experience.
