• Bachelor's degree in a related Quality or Engineering discipline.
• 5-10 years' experience in Quality or Engineering management, strong understanding of the investment casting process.
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
• This position entails access to export-controlled items and employment offers are conditioned upon an applicant's ability to lawfully obtain access to such items.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Expert knowledge of ISO, AS9100, Nadcap requirements.
• Team oriented attitude with strong coaching, counseling and training skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Superior verbal and written communication skills.
• Fluent with MS Office applications.
• Complex problem solving and organizational skills.
• Proficient in root cause analysis and continuous improvement strategies.

Manage, guide and assist in the development of the HLC Quality Assurance System. Provide leadership, strategic guidance and training in the resolution of quality systems issues. Drive quality systems continuous improvement
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Prioritize, guide and facilitate the activities of the quality function to meet organizational goals, initiatives and requirements.
• Oversee the development of standard policies, procedures and practices to ensure customer requirements are embodied in the quality system.
• Administer the implementation of the quality system to assure the flow down of industry, customer and corporate standards.
• Establish and maintain uniform quality performance metrics and reporting systems.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Job responsibilities and duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Drive improvements by promoting best practice methodologies and new technologies.
• Ensure team development by supporting an active training environment.
• Conduct periodic management reviews of the quality system, monitor the effectiveness of implementation and report results to the staff.
• Ensure timely and effective resolution of issues resulting from internal, 2nd Party and external audits.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives to improve production processes and to reduce costs.
• Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
