Order Fulfillment Specialist (Finance)



Job Purpose

The Order Fulfillment Specialist ensures the accurate and timely processing of customer orders by coordinating across sales, inventory, and warehouse teams. Responsibilities include reviewing orders, entering them into the ERP system, checking inventory, managing allocations, and communicating with internal and external stakeholders. They also identify and resolve fulfillment issues and help improve workflow efficiency.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Core Job Duties:

  • Receive and review customer orders for accuracy and completeness
  • Enter orders into ERP system
  • Coordinate with sales and inventory teams to confirm order details
  • Check inventory levels to confirm product availability
  • Work with warehouse teams to allocate products
  • Coordinate with shipping team to meet delivery deadlines
  • Serve as the main contact between customers, sales, and warehouse staff
  • Provide updates on order status, shipping, and delays
  • Handle fulfillment-related customer inquiries and complaints
  • Resolve issues like inventory shortages and delayed shipments
  • Manage replacement orders, returns, and refunds as necessary
  • Maintain accurate order records in the ERP system
  • Identify process bottlenecks and suggest improvements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance workflows

  • High school diploma
