Our current hybrid approach requires staff to work onsite a minimum of two days each week, every Tuesday and one other day, to be determined by their business unit. Hybrid staff are also welcome to come in additional days each week or may be asked to come in on other days by their manager.

Children's Media and Education is a division within GBH, whose mission is to work with communities to research, develop, and distribute quality media to support the learning and development of children and youth. We aim to achieve positive outcomes for children and young people through research-based practices and partnerships with educators, families, and community-based organizations, both in and out of school.
JOB OVERVIEW
GBH seeks a Senior Researcher to join our Children's Media & Education Division. Reporting to the Director of Research & Evaluation, the Senior Researcher will be a responsible for leading and implementing qualitative and quantitative research studies on educational media projects. This role requires a strong foundation in educational research methods, data analysis, and communication, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and Conduct Research Studies: Design and implement rigorous qualitative and quantitative research for formative and summative evaluation. This includes participant recruitment, instrument development, data collection, analysis, and reporting. May also include market or landscape research.
Monitor and Report Usage Metrics: Manage and analyze website and media analytics. Responsibilities include maintaining data platforms, writing queries, developing dashboards, and identifying usage trends.
Communicate Research Insights: Present findings to internal teams (e.g., product, curriculum, development, marketing) and external stakeholders. Contribute to reports, presentations, grant proposals, and publications.
Support Knowledge Sharing: Provide research-informed guidance on program and product development. Mentor interns, collaborate with external researchers, and share relevant findings and best practices.
