Sr Procurement Project Spec (Finance)



As a Senior Procurement Project Specialist here at Honeywell, you will hold a key role responsible for overseeing and managing the organization's procurement projects and initiatives. You will play a pivotal part in driving efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and strategic alignment across the procurement function.

You will report directly to our Director of Strategic Sourcing and you'll work out of our Charlotte, NC location on a Hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the successful execution and delivery of procurement projects by leveraging your expertise in project management, cost savings, and process improvements across our procurement operations. Through your leadership, you will ensure that procurement projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee procurement projects from initiation to completion, including supplier selection, negotiations, contract management, and delivery, ensuring projects are executed within scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Lead and manage a team of procurement professionals, including project managers, buyers, and analysts, ensuring the successful execution of procurement projects.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of the organization's procurement strategy, ensuring alignment with cost-effectiveness, quality, and supplier diversity goals.
  • Productivity data compilation and reporting to senior leadership

  • 6+ years of experience in procurement and project management.
